Interstellar Update
Just a quick update on the progress of Interstellar 5723...
This game is now being designed and built using C++ in Visual Studio 2008. This will run on Windows XP and Vista and will use DirectX9 and feature gravity effects and orbital mechanics along with additional Nvidia PhysX special effects. The game design document is done, and we are currently working on adding a user interface as well as additional features to the 3D space environment. 60% or so of the game data has been generated (all the stars, solar systems, and celestial bodies). Here's a screen shot of the Nirya subsector map generated using the Astrosynthesis generator.

Any parties interested in contributing artwork*, stories*, adventures*, additional content*, or who is interested in playtesting, or becoming a distributor of this game, should contact us here at the GameDevOnline studio. Should your content/artworks be included in-game compensation upon delivery of the work(s) will be provided as well as continued royalties. Distribution licenses are also available.
